The Pirate Ship…

The arrival of a new baby is definitely an event that can be planned for, and what better way than the design of his or her nursery.  Our part in this nursery for a new baby boy was the Pirate Ship built-in hutch and desk.

The top unit has three sections for storage of books, games, whatever; but the doors only cover two sections at a time.  They slide on tracks to the desired position and incorporate a seeded glass porthole within the distressed Maple slats.
